We were as close as possible to the bench of both teams, with a perfect view of the pitch. We were able to see the world-class players and coaches up close, while their fans tried to out-shout, out-whistle or out-applaud the other camp at every minute. From the very first minute, the tactical understanding between the two teams was palpable. The Italians, who relied on attacks, scored the first goal, but Spain, confident on the ball, equalised and took the match to a penalty shootout. We watched the situations with excitement. Their composure eventually earned a cup for the Spanish team. After receiving the trophy, we headed home with the moments, goals, and songs of the fans stuck in our heads.
