“On 11 March, Marcell Sebők started the day with a session on conspiracy theories and fake news. We watched videos and then analysed them. First, we watched interviews with participants of a Flat Earth Believers conference, and were amazed that some people who believe the Earth is flat have created a map of the world they believe exists.
In the meantime, our parents arrived and attended a lecture by Eszter (psychologist Eszter Bolla), who taught us about resilience to failure.
The film crew arrived from Budapest and had a look at our work. Two of our partners showed them around the Community House and we started thinking about how our cockade should look like. We had coloured felt materials, scissors and needles to make our own.
Brúnó Faragó from Szeged 1 gave a presentation on why it is worth studying abroad for a semester. He spent half a year in Copenhagen. He lived in a very beautiful place and experienced things he wouldn’t have been able to at home. Afterwards, he told us how good it is to come back with the knowledge you have gained.
Afterwards, we had lunch together and then had a mentoring session to go over the camp applications and the results of the oral interviews.”
