2nd session: Addictions
On the 15th of February we continued our “A sound mind in a sound body” project. We examined addictions’ harmful impacts. First, István Kun gave an interesting and instructive presentation. His goal was to provide useful information in connection with drug prevention. During the afternoon the kids created groups and they tried to make the theme even more interesting with visual aids.
“Our group made a presentation in association with smoking. We introduced the tobacco plant and we talked about the cigarette’s manufacturing process. In the end of our presentation we demonstrated the difference between a healthy and an ill lung. This day was very useful and instructive. “ Bálint Holecska, Mohács 1.
The other groups dealt with other addictions such as the alcohol and its harmful impacts, drugs and gambling.
