It is now a routine for the Foundation’s language teachers to meet at the doorstep of every new school year. The second Saturday of September was just ideal to gather in Budapest. This year however was new in a sense that all the other tutors teaching other subjects and fields such as computing and science came to discuss the task which should be mastered till the end of July.
It was lovely to welcome not only the seniors but also a junior who is going to teach from this year on in Kaposvár German. We happily can say that our language team is very dedicated and goal orientated approved by the several successful state exams which are taken at a high level year after year by our students. Hence the heat and the calling of the weekend we could work as a team and could discuss all the issues planned for the coming school year. Hereby we wish you success in any ways in the new school year.
“With the academic year starting, the mentors and teachers working for Csányi Foundation gathered together in Lóránt Street to prepare for another year’s work with the Foundation children. What was different this time? I have a feeling, this school year is going to be unlike any of the previous ones. The task is the same as before, improve the children’s knowledge in foreign languages and other subjects, help them pass exams. What’s different this time is the approach. The language teachers working for the Foundation all agree that we need to make some changes as society is changing and children with it. We all agree that we want the students to be motivated and also we want our classes to be useful and successful. As for me, this was my first meeting at the Foundation so I could not compare the past and the present. But I got a clear picture of the present and the future regarding what our long-term goals are, what kind of assistance I can count on, and what kind of responsibilities I will have. I think I got all the information and help from Judit and from the colleagues that I will need.
