Over the last few days, I concluded my tour of the Foundation’s established Community Houses with visits to both Kaposvar and Szeged.
I had one-to-one conversations in English with almost all of the children at these houses, covering a very wide range of topics. In addition, I participated in group English lessons with the younger children. Since my last visit to Kaposvar, the Foundation members there have moved into new premises. I was given a tour and thought that the facilities were excellent. The learning environment is much bigger than its predecessor, so it will easily be able to accommodate the increasing number of children taking part in the Foundation’s programme in the city.
I would like to offer my thanks to those I met during all of my visits to Nagybajom, Jaszbereny, Pecs, Kaposvar and Szeged. Everyone was very kind, friendly and eager to speak with me in English. I enjoyed my time at the Community Houses enormously and hope to visit them again soon.
