The members of group 3 in Jászság, who were taking their ECDL exam, had a great surprise.
Nagy Ildikó mentor with the help of the parents organised the Family Day in secret. Vasas fishing lake was busy because parents, sisters and brother were barbecuing delicious food, making salads and home made cakes and cookies were served for the unsuspicious children. They arrived around 1 p.m. and it was fantastic to see their happy faces as they were getting off the bus. They were surprised to see that their family members were there. Than a funny Family Day began. We had the delicious meal thanks to Mr Tóth in the usual good mood. After a quick cake testing started the party. It was a touching moment when the mentor, Nagy Ildikó, surprised the 8th grade students with a big bunch of balloons and with memory books. The girls with balloons tied around their wrist went to explore the area around the lake. The boys were angling, playing football, basketball and tag game with the younger kids. Even the slide could resist the load. While the children were playing with the parents we had a short discussion about the upcoming programmes and camps.
The lake and its surroundings were the island of peace for us that day. Probably that is why big fish did not come there. Thank you for this unforgettable experience!
