On Saturday, September 20, Kaposvár Group 1 gathered once again for their traditional Family Day. The community house was filled with life, and even the weather joined in on the fun — the sun was shining brightly all day, creating the perfect atmosphere for a cheerful, meaningful, and memorable event.
As everyone arrived, the delicious food slowly began to appear. Sausages, hot dogs, and cheeses were sizzling on the grill, prepared by an enthusiastic participant who made sure no one went hungry throughout the morning. Meanwhile, in the kitchen, mothers and university students were busy preparing salads, slicing ingredients, and setting the tables — making lunch truly abundant and varied. The fresh dishes and shared meal created a wonderful atmosphere, giving everyone time to chat and once again appreciate how good it feels to be together.
The day was full of activities as well. The more creative participants made bracelets or tested their patience with diamond art, while the sporty ones competed at the ping pong table. Some matches were serious, others full of laughter — and both children and adults eagerly joined in. One of the highlights of the day was the Csányi Kahoot quiz, prepared by the mentor, which entertained the group with exciting questions and clever puzzles. There were many moments when everyone laughed together at their own surprise over unexpected answers.
By the end of the Family Day, everyone was recharged — not only with delicious food, but also with good conversations, shared experiences, and new memories. The day proved once again how much it means to be together, to play, to laugh, and to take a break from everyday life. This is the power of community, and it’s what makes meeting again each year so special.
