Exploring family trees

Thanks to the Foundation, today (28 February) we gained new experiences and knowledge. We visited the Archives of Kaposvár, where we could see the first charter of Kaposvár, which dates back to 1232. Besides, family, marriage and death records are also available here for those who are interested. We had access to places where not all visitors are allowed to enter, and we have also been able to look at records or even touch them, which are not given to visitors to preserve their integrity. It was a wonderful afternoon, and as soon as I got my degree, I go back to explore my own family tree. I was really grateful for the opportunity. Alexandra Fitos,  Group 1 of Kaposvár
