The Csányi Foundation as one of the partner organisation of the Fulbright Commission represented itself at the Farewell Cruise on 24th May.
The event was opened by Dr. Jókay Károly. Among the guests there were the representatives of the U.S. Embassy in Budapest, sponsors and partners. In the morning the Hungarian Fulbrighters going to the U.S. took part on an orientation day where they received a great amount of information about studying, living and working abroad. In the evening the Commission hosted a farewell party on a boat crusing along the river Danube in honour of the outgoing and homegoing grantees.
On the next day (25th May) the grantees cultural evening was held at the Brody Studio, where all the participants gave colourful and amazing performances introducing their field of studies and projects done here in Hungary. Both occasions were perfect to share experiences, build up contacts and get to know each other!
