The selection process in Kaposvár, in which young students who would like to enroll in the Foundation can show us their talent, has begun today (22nd March).
8.00 Our Community House, nicely decorated, is more than ready to host the selection of the applicants. We’ll keep you updated with news over the weekend. Images about this event can be found in the Gallery.
9.45 After registration and some welcome speeches, the students start working on a reading comprehension test. Meanwhile, Mr Miklós Radoszáv, director of the Foundation and Péter Horváth, a long-time member of ‘Csányi’ tell parents why it’s good to be in the program.
11.00 After a short break, it’s time for the candidates to solve some maths exercises; at the same time, their parents can learn more about the Foundation and its goals. Children, parents and mentors alike are very excited and in a good mood.
12.45 After lunch and some social activities, a board of mentors and other Csányi Foundation personnel interviews the students one by one. They also show the board how they prepared for the interview and the tests. While one applicant is being interviewed, the others spend time playing games together.
15.40 And that’s it for today, the first day of the enrollment in Kaposvár. We’ll continue with some drama lessons and more interviews of students tomorrow.
