The language examinations of the Foundation are professionally planned and organised.
During the English oral examinations in Jászberény, the students were given the opportunity to perform in a calm, relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The encouraging words and a touch of humour helped the students to overcome the difficulties and stress of the occasion. We truly believe that the midterm and end of term oral and written examinations are necessary and hold an important place in the life of the Foundation. It is motivating and it is a kind of positive force which enables the students to study harder and reach for their goals. The language examinations of the Foundation are professionally planned and organised. Therefore, it serves as a model for a real life language exam situation, which every student will experience many times in the forthcoming years. They were provided with feedback. The comments given on their performances are motivating; they help define their strengths and, of course, the specific areas where emphasis should be placed in order to develop their language skills.
It was exhilarating being part of it and observing how seriously our students appreciated the prestige of the day. We are proud of all of our students and hope that the end of term exams will bear the same fruits. Moreover, our students will also give us feedback and hopefully reveal to us that the work we have begun with them is appropriate and that they are able to persevere and go the distance!
We would, of course, like to thank the mentors who are always there for us; their warm welcomes continue to be the perfect start to a day. Finally, we would like to offer special thanks to our colleague from Budapest who supervised the examination; we particularly appreciated her professionalism, patience and encouragement!
