On 17 December 2022, the day before the 4th Sunday of Advent, we gathered in Szentes at the Community House to spend a beautiful day full of anticipation and preparation with the children and families of Group 2. Some parents arrived in the early morning hours to prepare and serve the delicious treats. The cakes and sandwiches prepared in the previous days and prepared in the morning were put on the waiting table by busy hands. Boróka Eszter Süle has been a member of the Margaréta Citerazenekar for several years, which honoured us with its participation and made our morning commemoration more atmospheric with their programme. Our volunteer Istvánné Csige recited a heartfelt excerpt from Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s The Little Prince, followed by a poem by Gyula Juhász Nagy, entitled Towards Christmas. The rest of the morning was spent in the gingerbread-making workshop, where the most beautiful shapes were made and soon the whole house was filled with the smell of gingerbread. Decorations were an essential part of the festive table, and parents and children worked together at the craft table, taking home their table decorations and decorated gingerbread. The Christmas food parcels donated by the Bonafarm Group were gratefully received by the families, wishing all the members and staff of the Foundation a Happy and Peaceful Christmas!
