Like every year, the Community House in Nagybajom, adorned with Christmas decoration, was filled with guests once again.
We held our Advent Family Day on Saturday, December 10. in Nagybajom. From 9 o’clock the young members of group one welcomed their parents with a short Christmas play. After, the “old” members of the group surprised their mentor with a video collage as a show of gratitude. Later, the children made handmade Christmas decorations while their parents had a chat and enjoyed the many tasty snacks.
In the afternoon, at 13:00 the members and parents of group 2 and 3 arrived. After the welcome video, the guests also heard a Christmas story. During this homely afternoon they were offered tea and biscuits.
To bring the day to an end, all three mentors handed over the calendar and yearbook to the families.
Of course, the families also received the usual Christmas gifts. We would like to thank our volunteer Tünde Horváthné Varga for her efforts to make sure the day was spent in an atmosphere filled with Christmas spirit.
