Young and old celebrated together in the Jászság.
The three groups of the Jászság organised their Advent Family Day on the 5th of December, Saturday. Arriving parents and children first painted china pots, which could be take home by the makers. The sport lovers played table tennis and table soccer at the nearby tables. In the tea corner delicious tea specialities and home-made cookies waited everyone. Due to the large number of the guests, we had our Advent show in the neighbouring Főnix Fészek Workshop. Szölösi Attila started the event with a poem, Christmas by Ady Endre and the young groups continued with poems, songs and finally with the Story of the Four Candles. The programme was closed by Kalla Andrea’s guitar and singing performance. Later our volunteer Fülöpné Paksi Katalin surprised us with her home-made delicacies. The families returned to the Community House where they got the Csányi Foundation’s Christmas present from the mentors. Everyone looked through the Year Book excitedly seeking for themselves in it or just to refresh the memories of the year.
